We had a great meeting tonight. Lots of exciting things happening this year so stay tuned for
more info to come. For now we will be having a club meeting every first Friday of the month at 7 p.m.
in Woodland, PA followed by a drill/dry fire practice. Then on the third Friday of the month we will have
just practice without a meeting to help everyone hone their skills and have some fellowship. It will be
$10 per horse/rider (unless boarded there). We have a tentative shoot schedule pending CMSA approval.
We will be reinstating CSA which means FAIR PARADE!!!! not to mention some jackpots once the weather
breaks. We will be having an awards banquet at the end of the year as well. If you would like to be on the
banquet committee contact the chairperson-Tammy Angeletti. So much stuff going on that requires confirmation
that will be super exciting for our club!! I can't wait to get this year underway and make 13 our club's lucky number!! |

"Life's a ride, make it a Good Ride".....and a good ride it was at the inaugural AAQH Congress
cowboy mounted shooting competition! The use of three arenas was a first in CMSA history
and lent to an efficiently operated shoot as well. The horses were fast and the guns were blazin' as
cowboys and cowgirls from17 different states and equaling over 170 riders in all, shot it out for their
spot in CMSA and AQHA history. The Ohio state fair and expo center provided the facility while the
Northern Ohio Outlaws (NOO) provided the manpower to make it work. Results of the shoot will be
posted as soon as we get them. It seems there was a technical difficulty with the computers that's
being worked out. The Keystone Cowboys would like to thank the OQHA, NOO, CMSA, and the folks
at Good Ride for making it an outstanding shoot. I can't wait for next year!
